Our Glamphouse safari tents sleep up to six people and are the perfect option if you don’t have your own tent and like to camp in style.

Your Glamphouse will be set-up, ready and waiting for you and comes complete with six mattresses and a picnic bench. You’ll just need your own sleeping bags, pillows and outdoor cooking equipment (or eat in Mendip Lodge).

We may be off-grid but we still have hot showers, clean flushing toilets, a camp shop, washing up areas, a giant sandpit, toddler play zone, USB charging, wifi and a communal ice-block freezer.

The Pavilion camp cafe is open every day for hot breakfast rolls, fresh pastries, barista coffee, pizzas, fries, paninis, ice cream and soft drinks plus cold, local beers, wine and ciders.

Check in from 4pm and check out by 10am. Sorry, but dogs are not allowed inside our bell tents. Due to low bridges access to our site is restricted to vehicles under 2.7m high.

Rules: We like to keep things simple and relaxed. As a family campsite we only need a few common sense rules to ensure everyone enjoys their stay at Basecamp. Read our rules and quiet night policy here
