Bunk Tents

Our bunk tents sleep up to six people on metal frame bunk beds with foam mattress - the perfect option if you don’t have your own tent. Hassle-free camping!

Your tent will be set up, ready and waiting for you. Each tent comfortably sleeps six people on their own bunk. You`ll just need sleeping bags, pillows and outdoor cooking equipment.

The Bunk Tents are all situated together and within just a short walk of all of the Basecamp facilities.

If you have friends camping in their own tents, they won`t be far away and can camp in the adjacent area.

We may be off-grid but we still have hot showers, clean flushing toilets, a camp shop, washing up areas, a giant sandpit, toddler play zone, USB charging, wifi and a communal ice-block freezer.

The camp cafe is open every day for hot breakfast rolls, fresh croissants, barista coffee, ice-cream and soft drinks and our shop is always open for all the essentials and plenty of treats. Our licensed country lodge and beer garden serves the best local ciders and ales plus craft pizzas, Pieminister Pies, loaded fries and basket meals. Check out our schedule of free outdoor live music and take advantage of our activity centre and make your stay a real family adventure camp.

Check in from 4pm and check out by 10am. Sorry, but dogs are not allowed inside our bunk tents. Due to low bridges access to our site is restricted to vehicles under 2.7m high.

Rules: We like to keep things simple and relaxed. As a family campsite we only need a few common sense rules to ensure everyone enjoys their stay at Basecamp. Read our rules and quiet night policy here.
